Jessica Tormey is a proven leader and entrepreneur, with her most recent success founding the Wisconsin Idea Group (WIG) in 2020 which serves diverse clients at the local, state, national, and international level.
Over the course of her career, she has served in several Chief of Staff roles where she was known for her expert ability to implement CEO/organizational agendas. She has facilitated strategic planning and organizational change for multiple executives, including elected officials, university presidents, K-12 principals, chancellors, and CEOs.
It was through these experiences that Jessica specialized her work as an Executive Strategist who could help strengthen community-based organizations. Working closely with the CEO, she has helped start, flip, and support nonprofits so they can achieve their mission.
Now, in an effort to have greater impact, she is founding the League of Nonprofit Advocates (LONA) with the idea that, through a village approach, we deliver more services to communities in a way they can afford. With a strong track record of success, Jessica wants to turn social strategy into economic success.
Jessica has personally founded four companies, including a bakery, and obtained her master’s degree in administrative leadership in 2014, while raising three children who are 21, 19, and 9.
