Kelley Flury
Rural Wisconsin, Communications & Government Strategy
A graduate of UW-Madison, Ms. Flury worked eight years as a newspaper reporter, 26 years in the Wisconsin Legislature, and is currently assisting taxpayers at the Wisconsin Department of Revenue.
Among her responsibilities in the Legislature were writing and editing news releases, opinion pieces, talking points, testimony, and speeches for legislators.
Kelley wrote many letters of support for grant applications for local agencies. She met with lobbyists and citizen advocates to learn about legislation they support or oppose.
She worked with local, state and federal government officials on matters of mutual concern. She analyzed state law, legislative proposals, and administrative code, among other duties.
Kelley is a lifelong Wisconsin resident. When she is not working, she enjoys working out, volunteering at athletic events such as Ironman, listening to public radio, and many outdoor activities.
